Is NY State Legislation working to make taxpayers foot more of the bills for abortion? |

The State of New York continues to break new ground in attempts to negate the defeat of the national Roe vs Wade legislation within the national Supreme Court. As well, legislation has been presented and even though initially tabled, when passed would have taxpayers shoulder more of the costs of an abortion. Having become a prominent location in our nation for promoting the medical community’s killing of embryos and newborns, certain civil authorities now champion tax payer money being set aside for parent transportation, lodging, and other travel expenses. |

A group of nuns from the Catholic and Anglican church tilts over against the State of New York in legal challenge. In the case entitled, Diocese of Albany v. Harris, a group of Anglican and Catholic nuns, Catholic dioceses, Christian churches, and faith-based social ministries are legally challenging the New York court after it mandated that they cover abortion in their employee health insurance plans. This they claim is a violation of their religious beliefs. |
