Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He participated without violence in many battles that were won peacefully in his stand for human rights, though the war against prejudice still seems unending. In this, we must stand in his place, and watch as God calls other nations to task against the enslavement of race, ethnicity, women and children. We work for resolution knowing that these nations make war against the will of Yahweh, in that they have not believed in the divine Warrior that he sends. These powers shall certainly fail. While working within this worldly realm, immersed in spiritual war against the Satanic… we need to realize the conviction of sin, seek forgiveness and absolution, and proclaim our salvation in Christ. We invite those freed from physical bondage and loss of life, to join us and embrace the Prince of Peace. |

A VOICE FOR CHRISTIAN POLITICAL INFLUENCE TODAY! |
Finally therfore, witness that I find myself firmly opposed to efforts to disarm the American populace. It is wishful thinking that does not properly assess the power of evil. This foolish view provides the false concept that our government can defend all persons all of the time. This thinking also ignores that the government could turn on a disarmed public. Let us not think like those who have said, "It can't happen here." History from previous centuries shows clearly the fate of a not just a few people who walked through this sinful world disarmed. Instead, may we work in this world as redeemed sinners, those who are also made saints by the gift of the holy cross of Christ. We sometimes must use weapons of this world though distasteful to us, while speaking the Word to wage a holy war. Let us stand firm with the Word put into our hearts by the Spirit of God. Ultimately our Lord himself shall determine the caliber and strength of his peoples. May our Lord one day say, “Well done, good and worthy servants.”
