certain states within this country. Abortion statistics thus remain high. For me, as a Christian minister, abortion goes against the commandment “Thou Shall Not Murder” as found in the Old Testament. Since most physicians agree that nascent life begins at conception, abortion is an anathema. As a practice, it is profit mongering murder in both the penultimate sinful world and the spiritual province. Even if approved as necessary in rare cases, the occasion of abortion tilts we Christians toward being hypocritical, Our congregation populations decline as we fall victim to world values. Take heed, however, persons who promote pro-choice for any reason deliberately support legislation that derails the embryonic promises given by God.

Seems Godly, But Not?

Even in a science that seems beneficial we find ourselves sinfully lacking a defense in the divine court. In order to facilitate child-bearing for barren couples, whether married or not… we medically can now advance embryo fertilization and womb implantation of a child. Done in clinical laboratories across this land and others, the procedure is a monumental income source for fertility clinics. While the result of a child resting in the arms of welcoming parents is considered as laudatory by many, including myself, the medical procedure is not without huge ethical problems.

You see, in the search for a successful implantation of a  fertilized embryo in a prospective mother’s womb, it happens that remaining fertilized embryonic children not used in the procedure... are cryogenically frozen. For certain then, the freezing and maintaining of such embryonic storage also contributes to the income of a clinic that performs the process. This grants further profit margins. The cryogenic state of the embryos can be maintained for as long as the couple bears the cost of storage. This alone causes ethical troubles and sometimes leads to the legal prosecution of many. As well, court cases may appear if the parents of the embryos divorce. Heart wrenching can ensue over custody of the pre-born children. The end result is that if the parent or parents decide to end the cryogenic suspension, their children are subsequently murdered.

A VOICE FOR CHRISTIAN POLITICAL INFLUENCE TODAY!

“Make no mistake, there remains an urgent need to advocate for the unborn at the federal level which is one of the reasons we continue to march annually in our nation’s capital even after the Dobbs decision. Pro-abortion politicians relentlessly work to enact federal legislation like the deceptively titled Women’s Health Protection Act which would cancel every states’ ability to limit abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, and erases existing pro-life protections for vulnerable women and children nationwide. If they have their way, the whole nation will go the way of the seven states and Washington, D.C. that already allow abortion for any reason, at any time during pregnancy. The overwhelming majority of European nations reject such barbaric policies with minimum protections for children after the first trimester. We as a nation need to work toward federal minimum protections for the unborn, and advocate for policies that support pregnant women and families in need.” – Jeanne Mancini, March for Life President
