proper, primary mandate to preach, teach and then Baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While they claim to continue these tasks, in order to bolster fading congregation populations we find them tossing aside proper scriptural guidance. They’ve incorrectly embraced current and often horrid, popular avenues of “social justice”. By doing so, they’ve opened themselves to cooperation with the predatory nature of atheistic socialism. We may compare this to the Allies defeat of German and Italian socialism by embracing the military assistance of communist Russia during World War II. That move spawned further distresses. We thus ask, “What are dedicated leaders of the Church doing to face this confusing, contested arena? Are we to retreat, leaving the field only to have gospel declaration fade away from the American public square?” I think not. Recent actions within mainline denominations reveal that many have suffered theological schism. For example, my previous Lutheran denomination was torn apart over liberal theological error and my present North American Lutheran Church was formed. This newly called arm of the Church maintains a more historic, conservative theological stance. Therefore please note that we of the Church must avoid embracing evil powers and atheism. This political lesson was taught when former ally Josef Stalin contested the capitalist world, promoting the rights of an atheist collective. He therefore laid the aggressive groundwork which enabled such world threatening tensions as the 1960’s Cuban Crisis. This should warn us about the demons who skillfully hid within the seemingly small paragraph of our referred article. We must therefore ask, “What corrective actions can curb this demonic threat? |
