DOING RESEARCH for a recent video caused me to dig into a difficult subject. Any church leader led by the Holy Spirit knows the subtle nature of evil that lures we mortals into harmful lifestyles. This is certainly true when we look for answers as to why there is a dwindling population of Christian congregations. Demonic powers in the world have caused turmoil within the households of all fervent Christians. In recent years for example, the rise, acceptance and promotion of LGBTQ lifestyles within various mainline denomination adds to the overt pushing of their agenda in public square, especially in schools. I say to you that this is neither happenstance nor of little importance to the Church. Persons captive in those lifestyles cannot conceive. The effect contributes to emptying the naves of congregations. This success for the enemy of God serves to further efforts to destroy the Christian family. Blamed often on increased mobility within modern society and with both parents involved in the workplace, family ties get readily broken. The strain of distant employment opportunities often tears committed married couples apart, the basis for stable civilizations. Home environments then fall to pieces. Adults and children suffer. Clergy and churches watch helplessly as these people fall away from the fold. The primary problem in this horrid scene is our inability to preserve what is precious. Even though stable marriages and complete families are supported by the Church, we need to focus on corrective action. My subject here therefore centers on the future, mostly on communities who value children brought into the faith.
Many Children Missing? In recent travels I’ve noted the distinct lack of children and youth in our congregations. Children are missing in both Church and civil society. Why is this happening? To begin with, we see that powerful forces in the world deliberately diminish the value of children through citing that they are an impediment to a successful modern life. Thus many young married couples either forego being parents or wait until later in their careers… for the sake of making it monetarily in this complex world. However, here we explore the extreme of what is happening in plain sight. Do not be surprised if you’ve missed it because you need to make a living, but anyone having concern for the living should be alarmed. Our attention has been subtly diverted by most liberal news |

outlets. They shun revealing the fact that some 300,000 immigrant children... and more... are now missing. This points we Christians to the modern world’s disregard for children. What is more alarming is that we have national leadership whose concern is primarily restricted to their own child, whether that concern is for a youth or addicted adult. For the privileged and political influenced the news shows proper legal processes are often sidelined or changed. Given preferential parenthood as promoted in modern social attitude then, we must wonder that this hypocritical behavior is horribly highlighted as appropriate. We need to think about this at a time when little is done about the well-being of the children who are missing. They are not privileged to have attention from high worldly powers; the impoverished children are simply cast aside as fodder and waste in a harsh society. Be careful here! Although we might wave a condemning finger at our leadership, we must realize that we have put them in office. Therefore, it is ultimately our problem. Since a government may not take necessary steps to correct this issue, we of the Church must then act to correct the government. As of now, the elected leadership of the United States sends billions of taxpayer’s money to foreign lands. We may rightly ask why a portion of that grand gesture could not be used to augment search efforts for missing children. For their sake, I think this blatant financial error needs to be corrected immediately. For this reason, our vote, finances and bodily strength as Christians needs to be applied to correct his travesty.
